Going Live for Elise Stefanik's Confirmation Hearing
We'll share what we learn about Trump's UN Ambassador
Trump’s pick for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Elise Stefanik, gets her day before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday. Stefanik does not have much of a foreign policy pedigree (and no experience as a diplomat), so I am keenly interested in seeing her lay out her vision for how the Trump administration may approach the United Nations, including its multitude of agencies like the World Health Organization, the World Food Program, and many others.
The hearing begins at 10 a.m. Washington, D.C., time, and will typically last over two hours. At 1 p.m. Eastern time, my To Save Us From Hell co-host, Fordham University professor Anjali Dayal, and I will go live using Substack’s new video feature to share our reactions and analysis. We’ll run a concurrent chat so you can send us your questions and share your perspective.
